Ine 1921, Billy Ingram launched a family-owned business with $700 and an idea, selling five-cent, small, square hamburgers. Currently, there are 377 locations across 13 states, with its greatest presence in the Midwest.
For a time White Castle struggled in supplying the buns and patties for White Castle. The closest White Castle at the time was 1,500 miles away, but they figured out how to support the Castles in Las Vegas!
Currently, the Arizona store is projected to open this fall! Jamie Richardson, White Castle’s Vice President stated that Arizona was a top option as they saw a huge dedicated fan base. “There’s a large swatch of migratory residents in the area who grew up in Midwest and East Coast markets where White Castle was a right of passage.
