Networking, growing your business, and reducing your commute are just some of the benefits of joining a co-working space. Now, Equinox announced their newest partnership with co-working operator, Industrious, to offer furnished office spaces near the Equinox locations!
When co-working spaces were beginning to pop up in cities across the nation, they were taking the form of white-washed and over-lit spaces in rundown downtown office blocks. But, the course was changed in 2010 when WeWork opened in New York City. Glass walls, a bright color palette, and bean bag chairs signaled the rise of co-working spaces as a community and networking space.
Now, Equinox wants to give their members the chance to work hard right before or after their workout session at the gym!
This new partnership that Equinox is creating allows their company to foster connections that will let their members know that they are cared for. Lauren Taylor, director of programming and partnerships at Spring Place told Observer that,” we develop our community and support the companies and projects that are being created within our spaces. Also, we listen to the members, learn from then and adapt to help them and Spring Place itself grow.”
Currently, Industrious has 76 office locations in 42 U.S. cities and has raised $142 million in venture funding. Their latest partnership with Equinox is sure enough to be a hit among the Equinox members!
