Fourth of July is right around the corner and every neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles has their own celebration on this national holiday. Whether you are in town to celebrate with your family or you are an L.A. native, you can always find a new spot to enjoy this special day either at a free event like at the Exposition Park annual fireworks show or you can pay a little extra to view the Rose Bowl stadium fireworks on the field. Restaurants to dine in this Fourth of July!
Esters Wine Shop & bar will be opening early on July 4th for a very special brunch! From 10 AM to 2:30 PM, customers can lounge on the outdoor patio over Micheladas and Coffee-Chile Negronis. Executive Chef Jessica Liu He will be cooking Frittatas made-to-order with onion, kale, shiitake mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes; a provolone and cheddar cheese blend or Shrimp ‘n Grits with fresh corn, bell peppers, honey, BBQ beer glaze, and pickled Fresno chiles. They’ll be closing at 3 PM for the holiday.
Sweet Rose Creamery will be opening early at 8 AM for the Fourth of July! They’ll be serving up sweet and savory breakfast hand pies, cold brew, and hot coffee until noon as they are on the Santa Monica parade route which starts at 9:30 AM. The Sweet Rose delivery truck will also be driving in the parade, with the team passing out free, mini fruit popsicles!
The Bungalow Santa Monica will be open on the 4th of July as they will be offering their specialty Stripes Cocktail and will have a hot dog cart on site. They will be open from noon to 10 PM on the fourth of July.
Located in Marina Del Rey, Beachside restaurant will be serving a family-style crawfish and crab boil loaded with crawfish, snow crab claws, sweet summer corn, red bliss potatoes, and sausage for $65. Or, you can indulge in the Beachisde BBQ for two, complete with beef brisket, pulled pork, hot links, corn on the cob, tater tots, and mac ‘n’ cheese for $50.
Also located in Marina Del Rey, Tony P’s Dockside Grill will be having food and drink specials from 3 to 6 PM on the fourth of July. Customers who arrive for dinner can choose to be seated on the patio which will give them a priceless view of the Marina Del Rey fireworks show. Reservations are recommended.

Downtown’s free Fourth of July block party is back for another year, with live music and more than 40 food trucks kicking the day off at 3 PM and fireworks show begins at 9 PM.
The tallest building west of the Mississippi will be open on the fourth of July as they will have one of the best views of the entire city of Los Angeles! There are several restaurants and lounges located on the 70th floors like La Boucherie, Dekkadance, Sora, Spire 72, Lobby Lounge, and the No Dive Bar. The bars and restaurants need a reservation, but the lounge on the 70th floor requires no reservations.
With a summer full of events, the Rose Bowl Stadium is looking forward to hosting their 92nd annual AmericaFest on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. This year they will once again showcase a world-renown fireworks show and entertainment to remember, including Maddie Poppe making her first live performing appearance since winning American Idol. Doors open at 5:30 PM and Fireworks begin at 9 PM.
Councilmember Curren Price is presenting the annual 4th of July Community Festival & Fireworks Show with a picnic style event on the South Lawn at Exposition Park. People can enjoy live music, games, and activities for the kids, delectable food and an over-the-top fireworks show on Wednesday, July 4 from 11 AM – 10 pm.
Make it a Fourth to remember with a patriotic program of star-spangled music and the groundbreaking all-girl hit-makers The Go-Go’s. The 1980s megastars will fill the Bowl with their hit favorites like “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed” before closing out the night with their grand fireworks show. The venue is hosting several evening performances on July 2, 3, and 4.
The Queen Mary is celebrating their annual July 4th event with live entertainment, family games, arts & crafts, special historic tours and a patriotic theatrical movie in the Queen Mary Theatre and plenty more. To top off the night, the Queen Mary will present its signature fireworks spectacular filled with patriotic music while you enjoy a summer evening under the Southern California night sky with a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. The All-American 4th of July is open to the entire family from 2 PM to 10 PM.
