Yesterday, June 11, IHOP was trending on all major news stations and social media platforms as they finally revealed what their name change was all about. IHOP has rebranded as IHOb — the International House of Burgers — which has other fast-food chains posting their reactions and even rebranding themselves to go along with what IHOb did. IHOb actually took the time to respond to Wendy’s tweet: “Can’t wait to try a burger from the place that decided pancakes were too hard,” with saying, “We don’t want any beef with you, we just want to share our beef with the world.”
When one Twitter user asked whether Burger King had a grill that IHOb could borrow, “Pankcake King” responded with a Taylor Swift-inspired reference, “Sorry, old Burger King can’t come to the phone right now…” Then Burger King quickly changed their username to Pancake King!
