St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, March 17, and there are many locations that will be hosting a celebration in Los Angeles. To start with, there is a big beer and brewery scene in L.A. that complements the festivities of St. Patrick’s Day and we have compiled a list of the best locations to visit on this special day of the Irish. Let’s take a look!

Rock & Reilly’s is hosting its 7th annual St. Patrick’s Day block party complete with music, leprechauns, stilt walkers, food trucks, photo booths, games, and 100 kegs of green beer. All proceeds from the party will benefit Merging Vets and Players, an LA-based charity that brings together former combat veterans with former professional athletes so that they can help each other navigate the transition. Brack Shop Tavern is hosting a celebration that starts at 1 PM and a bagpipe player will perform from 3-6 PM. Drink specials include green Budweiser for $5, Guinness for $7 and shots of Jameson Irish Whiskey for $8. Irish Car Bomb shots are $10. There will also be Irish-themed bar snacks including corned beef sliders.
Casey’s Irish Pub is hosting its annual block party closing off parts of Wilshire Boulevard and Grand Avenue and bringing in outdoor bars, 450 kegs of beer and more than 30 bartenders. The festival starts at 11 a.m. and admission is free before 1 p.m. (later entry is $20, cash only). There will also be yard games set up on a 900-square-foot plot of Astroturf, and DJs spinning the whole day. In addition to the booze, Casey’s will serve a full menu of Irish dishes such as shepherd’s pie and corned beef.

Baldoria is a cocktail location in Little Tokyo that will augment its usual menu of gourmet pizza and small plates with some Irish-themes fusion food. They will offer items like corned beef hash pizza, and the bar will be offering $3 shots of Bushmills.
Angel City Brewery is holding its annual St. Patrick’s Day party. There will be Irish fusion food like corned beef tacos, plus live entertainment, with music from NOVALA, the Sound of Ghosts and other acts. Additionally, Opera on Tap Los Angeles will be singing traditional Irish songs. Of course, it’s a party in a brewery, so expect good beer, including an Irish coffee stout. Admission is free for the event that runs from noon-2 a.m.
Brennan’s St. Patrick’s Day is hosting a celebration that begins at 6 AM and will go on until 2 AM. You can enjoy green beer and food specials that include vegan and non-vegan Irish tots made with beer cheese, corned beef and pickled onion. There is also a corned beef sandwich and brats. Live music includes The Dueling Piano Guys, Git ‘er Done band, The Dair Band, Dinosaur Tooth and The Black Hips. No cover charge until noon. Guests must be at least 21 years old.
