Restaurants operators might be wondering what they will encounter the next 2018, and so do us. We’ve been reading some articles and studies regarding this subject, and came up with 3 important trends predictions that will shape Restaurants in 2018. Check them out:
1. Giving back to the Community more and more
Restaurants are focusing more and more on the best ways of how their growth and company’s culture can give back to their communities. The restaurant Panera Bread has been fighting hunger in various ways for 25 years, including extensive work with Feeding America. Restaurants should follow their steps and consider this important trend for the following years.
2. Baby boomers bounce back
It’s surprising that although restaurants might be going after Millennials more and more, predictions for 2018 tell that restaurants are falling back in love with baby boomers, specially those who grew up with them. Customers who gave rise to fast food and casual dining may be grayer today, but they also boast more money and an affinity for those old-guard segments.
Restaurants will be implementing personalized advancement programs that intend to help nontraditional restaurant workers find success outside the operation. Also providing training programs and educational opportunities in order to attract new workforce demographics.
